Appointments, Insurance & Private Pay
Lakesyde Behavioral Health offers both insurance-based care and private pay appointments, all scheduled through our secure patient portal.
If you prefer to self pay or you are not using insurance, you may schedule and pay directly with Lakesyde Behavioral Health.
We are currently in network with the following plans: Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare / Optum and Nevada Preferred Health Care Professionals. Appointments using these plans are scheduled directly through Lakesyde Behavioral Health and billed using your insurance benefits.
Clients who prefer to self-pay, or whose insurance is not listed above, may also schedule private pay appointments using the same scheduling link.
All appointments — insurance and private pay — are scheduled through our secure Tebra patient portal. Insurance eligibility and payment options will be reviewed after scheduling and prior to your appointment.

Spravato®️ (Esketamine) Treatment — Coming Soon
Lakesyde Behavioral Health plans to offer Spravato®️ treatment for adults struggling with treatment-resistant depression.
Spravato®️ is an FDA-approved nasal spray used together with an oral antidepressant for adults who have not responded well to two or more antidepressant medications.
This service may be appropriate for adults with treatment-resistant depression and, in certain cases, adults experiencing depressive symptoms with suicidal thoughts or behaviors.
GeneSight®️ Genetic Testing
Lakesyde Behavioral Health offers GeneSight®️ genetic testing to help guide psychiatric medication treatment decisions.
GeneSight®️ testing analyzes how your body may process certain psychiatric medications based on your genetic profile. This information may help providers make more informed medication choices, especially for patients who have experienced side effects, difficulty tolerating medications, or inadequate response to previous treatments.
GeneSight®️ testing may be considered for patients struggling with conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions when clinically appropriate.
Testing is simple, non-invasive, and completed using a cheek swab collected in the office.
Substance Use Support
Lakesyde Behavioral Health provides compassionate support for individuals struggling with substance use concerns.
Our services may include medication-assisted treatment options such as Suboxone®️ for opioid dependence, oral naltrexone for opioid or alcohol use concerns, and Vivitrol®️ injections when clinically appropriate.
We also support appropriate, safe, and gradual benzodiazepine tapering for established patients when medically indicated.
Long-Acting Injections
Lakesyde Behavioral Health offers long-acting injectable medication options for patients who may have difficulty taking daily oral medications.
These injections may be helpful for certain individuals diagnosed with conditions such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Long-acting injections can help improve medication consistency and reduce the stress of remembering daily pills.

- • Spinal cord stimulator psychiatric evaluations
- • Bariatric surgery psychiatric evaluations
- • Gender-affirming surgery support letters, when clinically appropriate
- • FMLA paperwork for established patients
- • Emotional support animal letters for established patients, when clinically appropriate
- • Other forms or clinical documentation after appropriate evaluation
Please note: paperwork and letters are generally completed for established patients only after proper clinical evaluation.

Surgical Clearance Letters
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and clearance documentation for planned surgical procedures.
Paperwork Completion
For established patients only (minimum three visits). Assistance with forms, disability paperwork, and documentation.
FMLA Documentation
Assistance with Family and Medical Leave Act paperwork for qualified medical conditions requiring time off work.
Support Animal Letters
Evaluation and documentation for emotional support animals in accordance with legal requirements and regulations.
